Shipping policy

Shipping times do NOT include order processing times. Since ALL items are made by hand, there may be delays. If there are delays on your order for any reason, you will be contacted or you can contact us at sarahssoaps@hotmail.com

All orders are processed within 2 to 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. These days are subject to change and can change depending on the season (ex. busier around the holidays) You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

We can not control the speed at which Canada Post delivers parcels and can only give a rough estimate based off of their shipping times. We use both Canada Post Expedited Parcel (Canada), Canada Post Xpresspost (Canada), Tracked Packet USA and Xpresspost USA.

Home-based Studio Pick-up

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our home-based studio in St. Catharines, Ontario. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and you will be emailed when your order is ready for pick up. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with an address and pick up instructions. Please do not share this address with anyone out of respect for our privacy. 

General pick up hours are between 9:30 am to 7:00 pm (EST). If you need to pick up outside of these designated times, please contact us at sarahssoaps@hotmail.com 

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to all of mainland USA. 

At this time, we are not shipping outside of Canada + USA but we are working hard to change that! 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. International delivery timelines can vary between 8 to 20 days (this does not include order processing time) and expectations can vary greatly depending on the destination. We ship Canada Post Tracked Packet USA and Canada Post Xpresspost USA.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. SARAH'S SOAPS is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sarahssoaps@hotmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Canada Post is the ONLY courier that ships to P.O. boxes. If you have a PO box, you must select this option for shipping at checkout. If you have any questions or concerns, you can find more information here.

Damages during shipping

SARAH'S SOAPS will not be held responsible for any damages to your parcel once it has left our hands, however we will try to do our very best to make it right. Please reach out to us at sarahssoaps@hotmail.com and we will work with you to come up with a solution. Our full refund policy can be found here.
