From massive supply chain issues to attending our first market in 1.5 years, I wanted to highlight some of the incredible markets we were a part of this year. I want to thank the amazing venues and coordinators for their hard work + dedication in supporting small businesses. An even bigger thank you to YOU for showing up to shop, popping by to say hi, chatting all things plants + botanicals and shopping small. I am so happy to have a little normalcy back; this business just isn't the same without connecting + chatting with all of you!
Here are a few of my favourite markets, venues + displays from our 2021 market season:
PEN CENTRE POP-UP: Nutcracker Bash with The Mom Market Niagara
Our only 3 day market this year with over 8,000 of you beautiful humans showing up! This apothecary pop-up is one of my all time favourites + I wish we could have stayed forever. A big thank you to Ashley from The Mom Market Niagara for her dedication in supporting small businesses. Forever grateful for you!
ART & CRAFT MARKET: Sorella Niagara @ The Hare Wine Co.
Hosted in one of the most beautiful castle esque settings at The Hare Wine Co. in Niagara-on-the-Lake, we sipped on mulled wine, kept warm by the fire + packaged so many gifts for you all to give. Did I mention there was also an ice wine festival? How fun! A big thank you to Sorella Niagara Collective for having us.
OUTLET MALL POP-UP: Niagara-on-the-Lake @ The Outlet Collection
Hosted in Canada's largest outdoor mall, we spent the weekend set up with our best friend Bella Buddha Beads in our very own pop-up shop. Although the weather was cold and wet, so many of you showed up to support us + we most definitely felt the love!
THE HOLIDAY MARKET: Ricky + Olivia x Dillon's Small Batch Distillers
Any day is a great day when you're hanging out at Dillon's Distillery. We spent a beautiful Sunday sitting by the warm fire drinking spiked oat-nog, surrounded by live music, local makers and yummy food from Ricky + Olivia - Dillon's hosts a good time, every time!
STARLIGHT MARKET @ Lincoln Museum
The sweetest market nestled in the heart of Jordan at The Lincoln Museum surrounded by beautiful views of the escarpment, a tree lighting ceremony + roasted fireside marshmallows . A chilly night with all of the warm, cozy holiday vibes.
YOU HAD ME AT MERLOT: The Mom Market Niagara @ Jackson Triggs Winery
Our first market back after a year and a half + it was worth all the wait! The Mom Market Niagara put on a summer market with live music and local wine + food hosted at the beautiful Jackson Triggs Winery. I was completely overwhelmed with the amount of support at this market - I missed seeing + connecting with all of you SO much and my heart was so full after our first market of the season!
CANDY CANES + COCKTAILS HOLIDAY MARKET: The Mom Market Niagara @ Club Roma
You can probably tell by now that The Mom Market Niagara hosts some pretty amazing markets... This sip + shop was filled with over 50 incredible local small businesses, this holiday market was one for the books.
After a super busy last six months filled with many late nights, early mornings, + cold market days, I am excited to take this season to rest + recoup. My brain is always bubbling with display ideas + new markets for next year and I am so excited to see you all again soon at one of our markets in 2022!
